Jeannine R. Lessard

Jeannine R. Lessard, 88, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Notre Dame de Bois, PQ, Canada on September 24, 1936 the daughter of the late Armand and Lydia (Lambert) Pratte and was raised in Canada. She moved to the US in 1955 and has resided in the Berlin-Gorham area since the 1960’s. Jeannine enjoyed bowling, line dancing and had enjoyed snowmobiling in past years. She was an avid knitter and quilter.

Family includes her children Robert Lessard (Bonnie) of Gorham, NH, Joanne Johnson (Carl) of Alpharetta, GA, Alain Lessard (Susan) of Berlin, NH, Daniel Lessard of Nashua, NH and Helene Labbe and fiancée Rob Youngs of Candia, NH; daughter-in-law Vonnie Lessard of Hummelstown, PA; 17 grandchildren Melanie, Jessica, Chris, Lindsey, Amber, Nicole, Jessica, Greg, Tiah, Aja, Cheyenne, Dominick, A.J., Alexa, Jacob, Derek and Kaleb; 9 great grandchildren; brother Wilfrid Pratte of Litchfield, NH; sister Nicole Pratte of Montreal, PQ, Canada; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Clement Lessard and several siblings.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday October 17, 2025 at 1 PM at the Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
