Jeannette L. Valliere, 88, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at Concord Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Berlin on June 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Graziella (St. Onge) Charron. Jeannette was raised in Berlin and attended local schools. She spent several years in Fayetteville, North Carolina, while supporting her husband during his military service, before returning to Berlin, where she remained rooted for the rest of her life. Prior to her retirement, Jeannette enjoyed a successful 50-year career as an Avon sales representative, earning numerous awards and forming many lasting friendships along the way.

Jeannette deeply loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She was the true matriarch of her family—the heart and foundation who brought everyone together, offering unwavering love, guidance, and strength across generations. A devout Catholic, her faith was an important part of her life and guided her kindness, compassion, and the way she cared for others. She especially loved attending the many events and activities her grandchildren participated in, always showing her support and pride. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—pontoon boat rides, tending to her garden, caring for her flowers, and playing cards with family and friends. She had a fondness for the color purple, which reflected her vibrant and warm spirit. Jeannette will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh, which could brighten any room and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Michael Valliere and his wife Francie of Berlin; Robert Valliere and his wife Pam of Gorham; Jeanne Gauthier and her husband Steve of Gorham; Richard Valliere and his wife Maria of Bay City, Michigan; and Scott Valliere and his wife CJ of Berlin. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren—Hillary, April, Maree, Christine, Robert, Heidi, Matthew, Steven, Chelsea, Shaeleigh, Nolan, and Addisyn—as well as many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Jeannette is also survived by her siblings: Maurice Charron and his wife Laura of Hudson, NH; Ann Marie Merrow of The Villages, FL; Laurent Charron and his wife Gail of Berlin; Paul Charron and his wife Lori of Errol; and Marc Charron and his wife Kim of Berlin; surviving in-laws: Anita Valliere of Berlin, Dawn Charron of Wallingford, CT, Paul Gleason of Gorham, Chon Valliere of Ayer, MA; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard E. Valliere, in 2019; her brothers Raymond, Roger, and Romeo Jr.; and her sister, Simonne Morrissette.
