Janette G. Pierce, 74, of Berlin and formerly of West Paris and Bethel, ME, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin following a period of failing health. Janette was born in Norway, ME the daughter of the late Archie F. and Irene D. (Estes) Damon and lived most of her life in the Norway area. Janette enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and watching wrestling on TV. She adored animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by her son John Pierce and wife Amanda of Berlin; a daughter April Buck of Buckfield, ME; granddaughters Janna Lynn Buck and Shyanne Buck; a grandson Isaac Pierce; two great grandchildren Carson and James; and a sister Sherry Damon of New York. She was predeceased by sisters Sylvia Tutko and Roxanne Berry as well as a brother Fenton Damon.
