Irene J. Gagne

Irene J. Gagne, 85, of Berlin, NH, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026 at St. Vincent De Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her loved ones by her side. She was born on September 10,1940 the daughter of William Lawrence and Jeanne (D’ Arc Dube) Lawrence and was a lifelong resident of Berlin. Irene enjoyed giving back to the community and took part in many organizations in the area.

Family Includes her children Joan Morrissette and David Rhine of Quincy, MI, David Gagne and wife Roxanne of Raymond, ME, Steven Gagne and wife Denise of Berlin, NH, Lisa Bisson and Jay Barnett of Gorham, NH; siblings Lorraine Bedard of Connecticut, Rene Lawrence of Berlin, NH, Roger Lawrence of Gorham, NH, Richard Lawrence of Berlin, NH, Eugene Lawrence of Berlin, NH, Linda Carrier of Hooksett, NH; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Irene is predeceased by her beloved husband Normand R. Gagne, parents William and Jeanne Lawerence, son-in-law Tracy Bisson, brother Harold Lawrence, and granddaughter Kelly Jeanne Stalhood.

Services will be held on May 12, 2026 at 11AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11AM, prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.bryantcares.com
