Guy Pond, Jr.

Mr. Guy Pond, Jr., 62, of 520 School Street in Berlin, NH passed away at his home Thursday morning January 5, 2006. He was born in Clarksville, NH on February 21, 1943 the son of Guy and Aline (Paradis) Pond and was a lifelong resident of the North Country. Mr. Pond served in the US Navy and prior to his retirement was employed at Ethan Allen in Beecher Falls, VT. He also worked as a part time constable and game warden and was an avid fisherman. Members of his family include a daughter Karen Henry of Essex Junction, VT; a son Guy Butch Pond, III of Jackson Hole, WY; a granddaughter Gabrielle Henry; his former wife Ellie Pond of Canaan, VT; a sister June Breault of Berlin; two brothers Bruce Pond of Gorham and George Pond of Plymouth, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Jeannette Maurais. Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin.
