Greta W. Turner

Greta W. Turner, 88, of Milan, NH, passed away on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin, NH on June 24, 1935 the daughter of Martin and Garda (Dinass) Hansen and lived most of her life in Milan. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1953 and had been employed as a cook at the Milan Village School. She had been employed by Converse Rubber Company for 16 years. Greta was a long-standing member of the Milan United Methodist Church and was Past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge. She loved to cook, garden and sew.


Family includes her husband of nearly 69 years, Willard Turner of Milan, NH; daughters Cynthia Chorette and husband Gailen of Berlin, NH and Donna Roy; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters Barbara Legassie of Berlin, NH and Florence Lowe of Goffstown, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Florence Lowe and her son-in-law Denis Roy.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 at 11 AM at the Milan United Methodist Church. There will be no calling hours. Private Interment will be in the Wentworth Location Cemetery at a later date. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
