Georgina F Wilson

Intervale, NH Georgina F. (Wenzel) Wilson of Hillside Avenue, Intervale passed away Thursday evening (September 26, 2013) at her home following a short illness. She was 82.

Born on March 11, 1931 in Brinktown, Missouri, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mildred (Veasman) Wenzel.

Georgina grew up in Brinktown and Dixon, Missouri and was a graduate of Vienna High School and then attended a local college.

On Feb 3, 1951, she married Stanley Lewis Wilson. They resided in the Buffalo, NY area for many years and then retired to Intervale, NH. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage.

She was a devoted homemaker who stayed home and raised the family and in later years, she worked as a nurse's aide.

She was a communicant of St. Anne Church in Berlin, NH and was a longtime member of the Ladies of Charity in Buffalo, NY.

Georgina enjoyed painting especially oil paints and watercolors and was a member of the Mt. Washington Valley Artist Association.

Besides her husband, she is pre-deceased by a sister Rita Merritt.

She leaves two daughters Alexia Andre of Intervale, NH and Diane L. Boehnke and her husband Adam of Amherst, NY; a son Donald Wilson and his wife Diane of Derby, NY; 5 grandchildren: Kimberly Wilson of Maryland, Anthony R. Wilson of Germany, Amanda J. Wilson of Maryland, Mitchell A. Boehnke and Heather R. Boehnke both of Amherst, NY; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm Monday, September 30, 2013 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Church, Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH. The Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.

A calling hour will be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm Monday, Sept 30 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
