George N. Houle

George Norman Houle, 91, of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, FL after a brief period of failing health. George was born in Berlin, NH on July 20, 1930 the son of the late Edward and Alice (Dion) Houle and resided in Berlin for most of his life. He served in the United States Army in Korea. He worked for many years as a Carpenter for Sanders Construction Co. and retired in 1987. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 538, White Mountain VFW Post 250 and St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. George moved to Florida permanently in 2002.



He is survived by his sister Priscille Nadeau of The Villages, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph A. Houle in 1997 and a sister Lorraine S. Morin in 2017.



In accordance with George’s wishes, he will be interred privately at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin beside his parents. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, Berlin, NH. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
