Florence M. Varin

Florence Marie Varin, 93 years young, of Berlin, New Hampshire joined the angels on March 18, 2026. After a period of declining health, she passed away peacefully in her sleep.

The only daughter of Hubert H Fredette and Rose A (Savard), she was born on January 19, 1933 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

The heart of her family – a steady source of love, wisdom and unwavering support. Her kindness was boundless, her laughter warm and comforting and her presence was a gift that made every gathering brighter. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, always delighted in finding the perfect outfit and accessory. Options, she would say; You need options.

She embraced connection and rhythm through healing and drumming circles, where her spirit shined in unity and expression. Deeply drawn to healing crystals, she cherished their beauty and meaning, often sharing them with loved ones as tokens of comfort, protection and positive energy.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, her love remains ever present in the lessons she taught, the traditions she created and the family she nurtured so deeply. Her legacy is one of grace, resilience and unconditional love.

She will be profoundly missed, forever remembered and always in our hearts.

She is survived by her five children, Ronald (Carol) of Beddington, Maine, Michelle Minke of Attleboro, MA, Susan Davies (Rodman), who she lived with, Richard (Michelle) of Cranston, RI and Edward of Pawtucket RI; 9 grandchildren (Alisyn, Amanda, Jonathan, Suzanne, Marissa, Jacquelyn, Nancy, Hayley and Alyssa), 5 great grandsons (Zachary, Nikola, Sergio, Levi and Noah), Jeannine Varin, nieces, nephews and cousins who all held a special place in her heart.

She was predeceased by her 3 brothers: Andrew, Geroge and Ernest. As well as her ex-husband, Edward J Varin, Sr.
