Felice A (Heroux) Collins

Felice A. (Heroux) Collins, a longtime resident of Champlain Street, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was 95.

Born on January 21, 1920 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Blaise A. and Marion (Paquette) Heroux.

During World War II, she served as a member of the Civilian Defense Corps.

In earlier years, she worked as a stockroom clerk at the Woolworths Department Store in Berlin and was a homemaker.

Felice was a communicant of St. Kierans Church now Good Shepherd Parish.

Her past times included bowling, cross country skiing, playing cards and bingo, and knitting.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Raymond A. Collins who died in 1988, a brother Rene Heroux, and a sister Rhena Holly.

She leaves her son Daniel T. Collins and his wife Judy of Milan, NH, three grandchildren Sean Collins and his wife Jessica of Somersworth, NH, Amy Martin and husband Wade of Rome, Italy, and Daniel Collins, Jr of Milan, NH, Great-Grandchildren Harrison, William, Charles, Joseph, and Frankie Collins, and Foster and Anderson Martin. Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.
