Ethel R. Lambert

Mrs. Ethel R. (Monahan) Lambert, 96, of Berlin, NH died on June 28, 2006 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin, where she has resided for the past six weeks. She was born in Fabyans, Bretton Woods, NH on Nov. 13, 1909 the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Fitzsimmons) Monahan and lived in the Twin Mountain area in her younger years and then moved to Berlin, where she has since resided. Ethel was a graduate of Berlin High School. She was a member of St. Kieran Church and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Prior to her retirement, she worked in several businesses in Berlin, including Emmas Restaurant, W.T. Grants and the Fashion Door. She was predeceased by her husband Edouard P. Lambert. She is survived by two daughters Marilyn Brazil and her husband Richard of Rocky Hill, CT and Marie Slayton of Suffield, CT; four grandchildren Douglas Brazil, Elizabeth Brazil, Derek Slayton and his wife Paula and Mistene Stoddard and her husband Joel; three great grandchildren Julia Slayton, Benjamin Slayton and Aiden Stoddard; her twin sister Winifred Murphy; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 30, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Friday morning from 9 AM until 10:30 AM prior to the funeral mass.
