Esther E. Moreau

Mrs. Esther E. Moreau, 94, formerly of 44 Twelfth Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday March 4, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on June 3, 1911 the daughter of George and Sadie (Wright) Aldrich. She attended St. Patrick Grammar School, Berlin High School and Keene Normal School. She taught at the Bartlett School Playground for 2 summers, in Percy, NH for seven years, third grade at St. Patrick School for 18 years and the dual enrollment program-grades three and four in the Berlin Public Schools. She was a member of the A.V. Retired Teachers Association, the National Retired Teachers Association, Berlin Womans Club and St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. She was married to the late Albert Moreau, who was Working Foreman for the Public Service Co. of NH for 25 years. He passed away in 1964. Members of the family include several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 7, 2006 at 2 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, prior to the funeral.
