Edmere Quinn

Mrs. Edmere E. (Barrett) Quinn, 93, of 151 Cape Shores Circle, Cape Canaveral, FL passed away on Wednesday March 3, 2005 at the Cape Canaveral Hospital. She was born in Berlin, NH on October 10, 1911 the daughter of Joseph and Henreitta (McGee) Barrett and lived in the Berlin area most of her life. She and her husband, Maurice J. Quinn, retired to Florida in 1975. She was employed as a Registered Nurse and did private duty nursing. She was a member of the Berlin Womens Club, the Androscoggin Valley Country Club and the Balsams Country Club. She enjoyed painting. Members of the family include a son John Timothy Quinn of Hernando, FL; a daughter Kathleen Roberts of Athol, MA; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Benedict Barrett of Scituate, MA, Joseph Barrett of Tucson, AZ and William Barrett of Naples, FL; cousins Dorothy Southwell of Manhattan, New York and Marietta Fletcher of Pittsfield, ME. Services will be held in Berlin at a later date. Interment will be in the St. Anne Cemetery. The Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin is in charge of the arrangements.
