Dorothy M Carbonneau

Dorothy M. (Roussel) Theriault Carbonneau, 90, of Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday August 29, 2013 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin. She was born in Augusta, ME on May 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Simon and Barbe (Gotreau) Roussel. Dorothy had been employed by the State of Maine Dept. of Transportation and was a member of numerous choirs and singing groups. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and held a 31 year pin. Members of the family include nephews Ronald L. Roussel and wife Cecile of So. Gardiner, ME, Donovan G. Lajoie and wife Susan of Augusta, ME and Andre Roussel and wife Mary of Auburn, ME; niece Barbara (Pomerleau) Shepard and husband Kip of So. Windsor, CT; brother-in-law, several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her first husband Leo G. Theriault of Augusta, ME, her second husband Raymond L. Carbonneau of Berlin, NH; brother Elderic J. Roussel of Augusta, ME, sisters Simone (Roussel) Pomerleau of So. Windsor, CT and Elizabeth (Roussel) Lajoie of Augusta, ME. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine Church in Augusta, ME on Tuesday Sept. 10, 2013 at 11 AM. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Augusta, ME. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
