Doris Boivin

Doris Boivin, 91, of Milan, NH passed away on May 20, 2020. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Oasis and Bertha (Blanchette) Martin. She moved to Stark as a young child and lived there most of her adult life, before moving to Milan a few years ago.



She loved knitting and sewing, and was an avid reader. Doris also enjoyed being outdoors, sitting on the back deck with her dog Remy and watching the birds. She was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and served for many years as a eucharistic minister.



Doris is survived by her children: Ronald Boivin & wife Bev of Stark, Normand Boivin & wife Debbie of Groveton, Maryann Haney of Stark, Dennis Boivin & wife Cyndy of Stark, Roger Boivin of Stark, Maurice Boivin & friend Carol of Milan, Lisa Boivin & husband Dennis of Berlin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as her sisters Madeline Cloutier & husband Zoe of Groveton and Patricia Drapeau of Zephyrhills, FL. She was predeceased by her husband Albert N. Boivin, three grandsons Jason Boivin, Ronald Paul Boivin, Corey Boivin, and her brothers Claude Martin and Donald Martin.



A Private Graveside Service will be held at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Groveton, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Doris to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 11 State Street, Groveton, NH 03582.
