Donald L. Ryerson

Mr. Donald L. Ryerson, 83, of 26 Union Street, Gorham, NH passed away on Wednesday evening, December 21, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. He was born in Gorham, NH on March 10, 1922 the son of Ralph and Mildred (Leighton) Ryerson and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Ryerson served in the US Army in the European Campaign and the D-Day invasion during WWII. Prior to his retirement in 1983 Mr. Ryerson was employed by the Brown Company for 37 years as a Security Guard. Members of his family include four daughters Judith Hayes and her husband Michael of Belmont, NH, Joanna Cote and her husband Richard of Laconia, NH, Debra Carbary and her husband David of Auburn, NY and Donna Theriault and her husband Patrick of Gorham, NH; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Olive (Hurley) Ryerson in 1997; his sister Doris Farrar; and his brother Ralph Ryerson, Jr. Funeral services will be held in the Spring at the convenience of the family.
