Clayton W Greene

Clayton W. Greene passed away on January 6, 2018 with the comfort of his daughter, Linda, son-in-law Claude and granddaughter Barbara at the Coos Country Nursing Home. Clayton was 93 years old.

Born in Embden Maine on August 12, 1924 he was the son of Frederick and Lillian (Lake) Greene.

Clayton served in the United States Army during World War II. He was very active in the VFW.

His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and camping.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Thelma (Greenlaw), and his second wife Helen (Gray); five sisters and two brothers.

He leaves behind his daughter Linda Gamache and husband Claude; a son Frederick Greene and his wife Louise; Six grandchildren, Barbara, Brenda, Connie, Fred Jr, Kenneth, and Joey; Eight great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest in the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta Maine.
