Claire Thibeault passed away on November 11, 2025 at the Coos County Nursing Home with family at her side. She was born in Berlin on August 24, 1933 to Isidore and Imelda (Boucher) Tremblay and was a lifelong resident, graduating from Notre Dame High School.
She was a stay-at-home mom until her youngest was in junior high, and she liked to keep her children close, so she would often have many of the neighborhood kids in the yard. In summer time, she would get up early to fill a small swimming pool for her children and some of the neighborhood kids to enjoy. In winter time she was outside shoveling snow with her children, she enjoyed the outdoors. Her work history included retail, stitching at Granite State, and bank clerk. She also did some volunteer work with the CCD program alongside her niece Cecile Labbe. She liked sweets and would often have a pie, cake, or cookies to share with anyone who visited. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and wreath making. She so enjoyed the holidays when she would decorate the house.
Claire is survived by her daughters Debra Baillargeon and her husband Jim, and Donna Amante and her husband Tom. She has two grandsons Matt Baillargeon and his wife Sarah, and Alex Moore. She has two great grandsons Jack and Neko Baillargeon. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, her sons Dan and Gary, her grandson Jeremy Baillargeon, and eleven siblings, of which she was the youngest: Marie Jeanne, Joseph, Marie Anna, Florence, Emile, Rosaire, Therese, Ernest, Marie Marguerite, Annette, and Archie, as well as many nieces and nephews
