Cecile M. (Fecteau) Nadeau passed away at age 96 on May 18, 2008 of natural causes at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester NH. She was born on February 8, 1912 in St. Benoit Labre, Canada to Anna Breton Fecteau and Josephat Fecteau. She was the eldest of nine siblings. Cecile and Philippe Nadeau were married in September 1947. Cecile resided in Canada, and moved to Berlin NH after her marriage to Philippe. Following retirement she wintered in Florida and summered in Berlin. Moved in 1996 where she lived the remainder of her life in Manchester NH with her daughter and son-in-law. She enjoyed several hobbies including seamstress work, playing as an organist, gardening, cooking, and she was fond of cats. She is survived by her daughter Carmel (Nadeau) Guerin, formerly of Berlin NH now residing in Manchester NH; her son Robert Nadeau of Berlin NH; three granddaughters Lisa (Guerin) LHeureux, Diana (Guerin) Peabody, Kristie (Guerin) Poltronieri, all residing in the Manchester NH area. A step grandson Larry Garneau of Berlin NH. Five great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Also survived by several siblings, nephews and nieces and her cherished pet cat of 22 years, Ginger. She is predeceased by her loving husband Philippe A. Nadeau, and her father Josephat Fecteau and mother, Anna Fecteau who passed away in 1995 at age 104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Church in Berlin NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery at a later date.
