Mrs. Cecile M. (Vaillancourt) Letarte, 75, of Berlin, NH passed away on Monday April 24, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 8, 1930 the daughter of Adrien and Alice (Barbin) Vaillancourt and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin - Gorham area. She was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Cecile had been employed by Ware Knitters as an Ironer, was member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW - Wt. Mtn. Post 2520 and had enjoyed camping for many years. Members of the family include Four Sons Richard Letarte and his wife Sharon of Berlin, Paul Letarte and his wife Lucy of Berlin, Roland Letarte and his wife Theresa of Berlin and Leo Letarte, of Berlin; Five Grandchildren Richard and wife Kelly, Mark, Tess, Jesse Letarte Anthony and Forest Letarte Hinkley; Two Great Grandchildren Christine and Bryan Letarte; Two Sisters Mrs. Merle (Juliette) Bunnell of Port Richey, FL and Mrs. Bruce (Jeanne) Merrill of North Windham, ME; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 56 years Alfred P. Letarte on Nov. 20, 2004 and her brother Raymond Vaillancourt. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin.
