Mrs. Cecile (Lacasse) Audette, 77, of 17 Adams Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Tuesday April 11, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on March 28, 1929 the daughter of Ludger and Antoinette (Huot) Lacasse and was a life long resident. Mrs. Audette graduated in 1947 from Notre Dame High School, and had been employed by Converse Rubber Company and later by Top Furniture as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She enjoyed good times with family and friends, bowling, playing cards, line dancing, attending shows at St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts, knitting, needlepoint, volunteering at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital and watching her grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed time at her summer home at Totem Pole on Ossipee Lake and especially enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard. Members of her family include one daughter Louise Maheux of Meredith, NH; two sons Ronald Audette and his wife Kathy of Lebanon, NH and Michael Audette and his wife Claudette of Berlin, NH; six grandchildren Christian, Sarah, Joeseph, Melissa, Meagan and Mallory; one great grandchild Devin; four brothers Paul Lacasse and his wife Doris of Merrimack, Roger Lacasse and his wife Carmen of Blackstone, MA, Raymond Lacasse and his wife Teri of Lunenburg, VT, and Roland Lacasse and his wife Brenda of Milan, NH; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Audette on March 7, 1994, by her sister Pauline Roy and by her brother-in-law Robert Roy. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Tuesday April 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish 345 Pleasant Street in Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Monday evening April 17, 2006 from 7 to 9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts, PO Box 339 Berlin, NH 03570.
