Carolyn L. "Terry" Holmes

Carolyn L. "Terry" Holmes, 82, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital, surrounded by her family. Terry was born in Berlin on November 7, 1942 the daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn (MacDonald) Dale and resided in the Berlin-Gorham area all of her life. She worked for Northern New Hampshire Mental Health for 13 years. She loved to knit, spend time on the computer and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Bill Holmes of Gorham, NH; her sons Scott S. Holmes and fiance Kathy Legendre of Gorham, NH and Jay J. Holmes and wife Vilma of Gorham; three grandchildren: Sarina Dawson, Jeremy Holmes and Stacy Herrod; six great grandchildren; her siblings: Linda Bard of Hayes, VA, Susan Lawrence of Gorham, Scott Dale of Shirley, MA and Bonnie Lynch of NC; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings George Dale, Theo Labonville and Tom Dale.

Interment will take place privately at the Lary Cemetery, Gorham, NH. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Bryant Funeral Homes & Crematory, Berlin and Gorham.
