BERLIN------ Carmen T. Leveille, 83, passed away on Friday May, 1st 2026 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.
Carmen was born in Berlin on September 30th, 1942. She was the daughter of the late John and Laetitia (Dube) Peters.
Carmen grew up and spent all of her life in Berlin. She attended Notre Dame High School and graduated with the Class of 1961. She worked for Smith & Town Printers for 13 ½ years part time. Carmen served on the Board of Directors of the Androscoggin Valley Hospital Auxiliary and also volunteered there.
The depth of her faith was reflected in her support of the Catholic Church by being a former member of the Sisters of Presentation of Mary Convent, as well as being a Lector and Eucharistic Minister for the former St. Joseph’s Parish and Good Shepherd Parish.
Carmen is survived by her children; Paul Leveille and his wife Penny of Grafton, NH, Carol Boissonneau and her husband Roger of Epping, NH, daughter in law, Rachel Leveille of Berlin, NH, Alan Leveille and his wife Tonya of West Milan NH. She is also survived by brothers; Armand Peters and his wife Alice of Meredith, NH, Patrick Peters and Fiancée Jackie Aubut of Gorham, NH, Robert Peters and his wife Lise of Berlin, NH, six grandchildren; Jon Leveille and his wife Alaina, Hunter Leveille and his wife Erin, Cameron Leveille, Beth Dandeneau and her husband Nathan, Noah Cass, and Alynna Leveille and her Fiancé Dylan Carpino, and a great-grandchild, Emmett Dandeneau, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents’ Carmen was predeceased by her husband Roger Leveille, sister, Noella Bartoli, and her son Carl Leveille.
She was a resident of the St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home for nearly three years where she was able to connect with many lifelong friends and staff members that she considered extended family.
Her strong faith, generous heart, loving smile and genuine “Joie de Vivre” will be missed by all.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Ave. Berlin, NH on Sunday, May 10th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 11th at 10:00am at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish 345 Pleasant St. Berlin, NH.
Interment will be held at a later date with her immediate family.
