Barbara L. Couture

Barbara L. Couture, 84, of Berlin, NH passed away on January 8, 2023 at her home, with family by her side. She was born in Berlin, NH on January 19, 1938 the daughter of Louis and Pauline (Guerin) Lavoie and has been a lifelong resident. During most of her working years, she had been employed as a cook and had also worked for Bass Shoe Company. She volunteered at the Salvation Army and also volunteered at the Catholic School in Berlin doing janitorial work.

Members of the family include her children Jacqueline Hawkins of Laconia, NH, Denise Cuthbertson and husband Mike of New Hampshire, Ricky Couture and wife Ashley of Center Conway, NH and Rachel Moody of Milan, NH; 42 grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Couture and three brothers Richard Lavoie, Lawrence Lavoie and Theodore Lavoie.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on January 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Milan Community United Methodist Church, Milan, NH. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
