Arleen J. "Babe" Coulombe, 79, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin surrounded by her family after a sudden illness. Arleen was born on March 9, 1946 in Berlin, NH the daughter of the late Paul and Adeline (Arsenault) Remillard. A lifelong resident, Arleen graduated from St. Patrick High School Class of 1964, she married Gerard Coulombe on April 29, 1967 and together they raised three children. Over the years she balanced various part time jobs while dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her most cherished role as a stay at home mom. Arleen found joy in life’s simple pleasures - spending days at the beach, camping under the stars, and making memories on family vacations. At home, she loved relaxing in the pool, sending heartfelt handwritten letters, and faithfully gathering with friends for card games. These moments reflected her love for connection, laughter, and the people she held dear. Above all else, her children and grandchildren were the highlights of her life. Her family meant the world to her.
She is survived by her children: Marc Coulombe and wife Paula of Gorham, Lynn Dube and companion Danny Boucher of Berlin, and Brian Coulombe and wife Sue of Gorham; her grandchildren Kara Coulombe, Nicolas Dube and wife Klarissa, Abbie Dube, Kameron Coulombe, Kaylea MacLeod, Steven Giroux and Kim Coulombe; great-grandchildren, Blayke Dube, Hana Grayce Uyehara, Kaysen Rand and Avery Dube; a sister Lorraine Gagne and husband Rick of Dummer; beloved sister in laws; many nieces and nephews. Arleen was predeceased by her husband Gerard "Gerry" Coulombe, a great-grandson Karsyn Rand, a brother Robert Remillard, and sisters Jeannette Brassard and Pauline Deschenes.
