Anita L. Roy, 85, of Dummer, passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2026 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Cement, OK on June 11, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Vance and Ruby (Chambers) Burton. Anita graduated from Cement High School in 1960. She married her husband, Norman, while he was in the service. Anita was a caregiver for Gertrude Woodward at her home for 26 years. She enjoyed reading and was a member of the Dummer Christian Church.

Family includes her children Dan Roy and wife Stephanie of Milan, NH, Brian Roy and wife Pam of Berlin, NH, and Judy Marcou of Dummer, NH; her sister Carol Warren of Dublin, GA; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norman L. Roy, her daughter Rhonda Beroney, and siblings Juanita, Dona, Carl and Sheila.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 3PM at the Willis Cemetery, Dummer. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Home of Berlin. Memories and condolences may be shared online at bryantcares.com
