Angele R. (Dupuis) Duquette, 85, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital after a brief battle with COVID-19. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 16, 1935 the daughter of the late Eugene and Alphonsine (Gagne) Dupuis and was a lifelong resident.
Angele worked for Granite State Rubber Co., then accepted employment as a switchboard operator for the former St. Louis Hospital. Angele remained with the hospital as St Louis transitioned to become Androscoggin Valley Hospital where Angele remained and retired as the Switchboard Supervisor. Angele adored her work at AVH and took pride in her work environment and in training her team for consistency, accuracy and professionalism.
After retirement Angele, along with her husband Donald, supported the Berlin City and Auto North dealerships as drivers where they made additional and lasting friendships.
Angele's family was always her hearts true North and that which feeds her soul! Always together whether just hanging out at home or on family vacation adventures on the motorcycles, seasonal camping in Maine or downhill skiing with extended family, fun was always had by all!
Angele is predeceased by her son Russell Duquette, Berlin, NH; her husband of 66 years, Donald R. Duquette, Berlin NH, as well as 7 siblings along with their related spouses.
Angele is survived by her daughter Diann (Duquette) Kashulines and her husband Peter E Kashulines of Sanbornton, NH; a sister Theresa (Dupuis) Ramsey of Berlin, NH: a brother Gerard Dupuis of Atlanta, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
A Virtual Memorial Service honoring the lives of both Angele and Donald is planned for Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10am via facebook.com/bryantfuneralhomes.
