Alfred W. Demers

Alfred W. Demers, 59, passed away on Friday September 16, 2016, at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin after a period of declining health. Mr. Demers was born in Lancaster, NH on August 4, 1957 a son of the late Willie and Marion (Emerson) Demers. He was raised in Stark and has been a lifelong resident of the North Country. Alfred was a mason and carpenter and had been employed by Couture Construction. He was an active member of Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. He was a great artist and enjoyed painting and sketching. Family members include; his wife Jeanne (Lefevre) Demers of Berlin; stepchildren, Nicole Losier of Manchester, Danielle Demers of Berlin, Renee Boewe of Berlin, Luke Boucher of Holden, MA, Andrea Boucher of California City, CA and Mark Boucher of Berlin; siblings, Germaine Demers of Lunenburg, VT; Dan Demers and wife Lisa of Stark and Jane Willette and husband Jeff of Guyton, Georgia; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Linda Demers. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 22, 2016 at 1 PM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will be in the Emerson Cemetery in Stark. Donations in his memory may be made to the Coos County Nursing Home, 364 Cates Hill Road, Berlin.
