Alfred J. Casey

Alfred J. Casey, 93, of Berlin, NH, passed away on Monday May 1, 2023 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin after a period of failing health. He was born in St. Stephen, NB, Canada on October 18, 1929 the son of the late Ambrose and Amelia (Martin) Casey and resided for most of his life in Mexico, ME. Alfred had worked in the woods most of his life and enjoyed going fishing. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and loved the ministry, letting others know about the hope that is found in the Bible, for a better future. He really enjoyed supporting his home congregation in Rumford, ME.

Family includes his wife Barbara (Nowlin) Casey of Berlin, NH; children Brenda Fortier and husband Glen of Berlin, NH, Steven Casey and his wife Jackie of Nashua, NH, Jay Wagnis of Augusta, ME, Diane Zollo of Rockland, ME and James Austin of Rumford, ME; grandson Timothy Sirois and wife Alicia of West Paris, ME; great grandchildren Scarlet and Daniel Sirois. He was predeceased by his brothers Dolphie Casey, Bill Casey, Raymond Casey and Gerald Casey.

The family will host a memorial service for Al on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 3PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 271 Gorham Hill Road, Gorham, NH.
