Alan L. Edmondson, 63, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster after a period of failing health. Alan was born in Laconia, NH on and moved with his family to Gorham at a young age where he graduated Gorham High School with the class of 1981. He went to work out of school in the woods operating forestry equipment, working for local loggers including Lionel Roy and Claremont Drouin. For a few years, he worked for a construction company in Connecticut for a brief time.

Alan attained his 3rd degree black belt in Karate, weight lifting and at one point could bench press over 400lbs. His biggest passion was snowmobiles, specifically Arctic Cats. He raced and showed them with his brother Frank and over the year attained numerous awards. He also enjoyed and had a vast collection of tools.

He is survived by his siblings: Sandra Allain and husband Peter of Milan, Jesse Edmondson of Berlin, Frank Edmondson of Gorham, Sally Edmondson of New York, Randy Davis of Dummer; several aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings Eddie Edmondson and Lisa Davis.
