Weldeena M Wally (Thompson) Anthony

Weldeena Marie "Wally" Anthony, 64, Berlin, passed peacefully in her sleep at Androscoggin Valley Hospital on Thursday July 25, 2019 after a period of failing health. She was born in Belfast, ME on September 14, 1954 to Rethel Thompson and Irene Curtis. She grew up in Searsport and attended local schools.



Wally raised three daughters and worked very hard in the mills to support her family. She achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a long haul truck driver as her second career. When she wasnt working she enjoyed reading, coffee, crafts, Bingo, Country music, Oldies Rock n Roll, watching movies especially Sci-fi and Star Trek. She was predeceased by her parents, a grandson, Patrick Spinny, two brothers Andrew and Wayne Thompson. She is survived by her three daughters, Irene Cardali and her husband Emile of Belgrade, ME, Gabriel Delano of Casco, ME, and Sileena Libby and her husband Christopher of Tuftonboro, NH, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers David Thompson and Robert Roberts, two sisters Mary Wing and Cynthia Hinck, step brothers Merle Thompson and Terry Thompson, step sisters Twyla Thompson and Roxanne Thompson.
