Violet Willette

Violet Pare Willette, 90, of Berlin Gorham Road, Gorham, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2011 surrounded by her loving children. Violet was born in St. Hermenegilde, Quebec, on May 4, 1920. She was the daughter of Rose (Caouette) and Alfred Pare, and one of five children.Violet married her sweetheart, Chubby and they spent 57 cherished years together. She and Chubby co-established C&S Vending Machine Company of which she was currently the President.Violet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an outstanding cook, a creative seamstress, a prize-winning vegetable and flower gardener and she loved to play cards. Violet is survived by her children; a son Robert Willette of Gorham, NH; three daughters, Cecile Clark and her husband Richard of Gorham, NH; Diane Willette Ballinger and her husband Glenn of Portland, CT; Joan Willette Lodigiani and her husband Michael of Portland, CT; and daughter-in-law Pauline Willette of Berlin, NH. Violet was predeceased by her loving husband Chubby and two sons, Jean and Peter. Memere will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren, their spouses and three great-grandchildren. Violet is also survived by many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws whom she enjoyed spending quality time with. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish/St. Annes Church, 345 Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham.
