Tony C. Ferrante

Mr. Tony C. Ferrante, 79, of 7 Cascade Flats, Gorham, NH passed away on Monday February 9, 2009 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Cascade-Gorham, NH on August 23, 1929 the son of Camille and Mary (Addario) Ferrante and was a lifelong resident of the area. He owned and operated Marys Pizza from 1969-1989 and had previously worked for Gemmiti Paving Co. He was a member of Holy Family Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles was an avid hunter and fisherman and a regular at Marcous Camp in Dummer. Members of the family include his wife Dorothy (Tanguay) Ferrante of Cascade-Gorham, NH: 1 son Jim Ferrante and wife Maggie of Randolph, NH; 1 daughter Donna Ferrante of Holiday, FL; 3 grandsons Joe Ferrante of New York City, NY, Dan Ferrante of St. Petersburg, FL and Tony Ellis of Spring Hill, FL; 1 granddaughter Kristin Mock of Tarpon Springs, FL; 2 great-grandsons Trevor and Dylan; 6 stepchildren David Dion, Dan Dion, John Dion, Denise Vallee, Lorraine Coulombe and Janice Messore; 6 step grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Lorraine (Dion) Ferrante in 1988, his father Camille in 1970 and his mother Mary in 2007. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 16, 2009 at 11 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH on Sunday Feb. 15, from 7 to 9 PM and on Monday Feb. 16, from 9 to 10:30 AM prior to the funeral.
