Therese Tremblay

Berlin, NH Therese (Fortier) Tremblay of Wood St passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH on Friday, January 23, 2015. She was 86

Born on August 7, 1928 in St. Fortunat, P.Q., Canada she was the daughter of Freddy and Alice (Pelletier) Fortier.

Therese grew up in Sherbrooke, P.Q.

On June 2, 1956, she married Lionel R. Tremblay and shortly thereafter, they moved to Berlin, NH where they settled and raised two children.

Therese was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, baking, and taking care of her grandchildren.

She was communicant of Guardian Angel parish now Good Shepherd Parish.

Besides her husband, she is pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.

She leaves her son Marc Tremblay and wife Sue and her daughter Nicole Tremblay and fiancAC.e Arnold Drouin, Jr., of Berlin, NH; two grandchildren Bryan Tremblay of Syracuse, NY and Erik Tremblay of Berlin, NH; two great-granddaughters Addyson and Avery Tremblay; a brother Renaud Fortier and sisters Juliette Guertin, Lorraine Auclair, Jeannine Goupil, and Yvonne Tetrault all of Sherbrooke, P.Q. Canada. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Calling hours will be held from 11am to 12:30pm Tuesday prior the Mass at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Burial will be at Russian City Cemetery.
