Therese M Roy 81 of Berlin passed away on December 30 2017 in her home after a battle with Cancer. She was surrounded by her Family. She was the daughter of the late Marie Jeanne Roy (Frechette) and Isaiah Roy. She was a Lifelong resident of Berlin. She worked in her younger years at the Towel Room in Cascade paper mill. Later in Life she donated her time at the St Vincent De Paul Thrift Store known to most as the East Side Mall.One of her biggest roles in life was to be a Care giver to her Brother Noel Roy who she cared for "25" yrs of her Life also caring for her family and anyone else that needed a helping hand. She was a Selfless woman that would always go an extra mile to make someones day special. She was a Devoted Roman Catholic and was a member of Guardian Angel Parish and then the Good Shepard Parish. She was a Member of the Ladies of Saint Anne.


She had Celebrated 61 years of Marriage with her Late Husband Roland V Roy. They were married on October 29th 1955 and they had Three Children. Daughter Patricia Piattoni and husband Richard (Peppy) Piattoni of Gorham; son Donald Roy and his wife Karen Roy of Milan: daughter Jacqueline McDonald and Husband Brian McDonald of Berlin. Grandchildren Michael Piattoni and wife Bonnie Piattoni of Rollinsford; Lisa Bergeron and husband Marcel Bergeron of Berlin; and Christopher and his wife Kelly. Great-grandchildren Sophia Bergeron, Emmalynn Piattoni; Joseph Piattoni, Benjamin Piattoni, Annabelle, and Madeline. Sister Muriel Comeau of Gorham, Sister Violet Grondin and Husband Norman Grondin of Berlin, Brother Lionel Roy of Berlin, Brother Maurice Roy and Wife Caroline Roy of Cuttingsville VT and Brother Edmond Roy and Wife Jeannine Roy of Gorham. Many Many In-laws and Nieces and Nephews. Therese was predeceased by her Husband Roland Roy, Grandson Daniel Piattoni, Noel Roy her brother which was like her own son. Brother Midas Roy, Brother Laurier Roy and Sister Rita Turco.
 
Therese loved spending time at Akers Pond where she got to enjoy family get together and to play Jenga. She enjoyed Gardening in her flower gardens and in her vegetable garden. She was an Avid Hornpout (Barbotte) Fisherman. One other activity she enjoyed was Picking Blue berries and giving them to loved ones. Also knitting and crocheting so everyone could have special gift. She was also well known for her Peanut Butter Fudge and Big toe candy. She was an exceptional Woman with many talents and was loved by everyone and she will be greatly missed.
 
Funeral Services will be held at St Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish on Thursday January 4 at 1:00. Interment will be at St. Pius Cemetery in Errol, NH. There will be no calling hours. Fleury-Patry Funeral Home is in charge of services. Online Guestbook: www.fleury-patry.com
