Therese Cayouette

Therese A. (Brunelle) Cayouette, 95, of Berlin, NH passed away on December 24, 2013 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, with family by her side. She was born on March 1, 1918 in St. Hermenegilde, PQ, Canada the daughter of Arthur and Josephine (Letourneau) Brunelle and came to Berlin during World War II when she married her husband, Roch Cayouette. They lived in Bath, ME for a time and then returned to Berlin. Therese was a member of St. Joseph Church, now Good Shepherd Parish, and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and BINGO. Members of the family include her sons Andre Cayouette and wife Mari of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Roland Cayouette and wife Marianne of Jesup, IA, Arthur Cayouette and wife Dorothy of Enfield, CT and Albert Cayouette and wife Karen of Milan, NH; daughter Louise Pelchat and husband Robert of Berlin, NH; 11 grandchildren,17 great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 7 step great-grandchildren; sister Rita Bolduc of South Windsor, CT; brothers Albert Brunelle and wife Lena of Newington, CT and Roger Brunell and wife Pauline of South Windsor, CT; sister-in-law Linda Brunelle of Althol, MA; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roch Cayouette, an infant daughter Therese, brothers Lucien Brunelle, Rene Brunelle and Andre Brunelle and sisters Rolande Melanson and Gertrude Albee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, NH. Interment will be in St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
