Sylvia J. Davenport

Sylvia J. Davenport, 75, of Berlin, passed away on February 18, 2015 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born in Berlin on February 8, 1940 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marie Rose (Cloutier) Laflamme and was a lifelong resident. She attended Notre Dame High School and had worked as a nurses aide in her younger years. Sylvia loved to knit, go camping and listen to older country music. She was a very devoted, loving and caring wife and mother and touched everyone she came in contact with. Family includes her husband of 51 years, Elbert Paul Davenport of Berlin, NH; sons Brian Davenport and wife Valerie of FL, Daniel Davenport of Berlin, NH Scott Davenport and wife Brenda of Belmont, NH and Keith Davenport and fiance Alison Giglio of Berlin, NH; 5 grandchildren and brother Robert Laflamme of Berlin, NH. She was predeceased by a brother Roger Laflamme. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish on Monday February 23, 2015 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
