GORHAM, NH -- Ruth M. Saucier of Glen Road passed away Sunday evening (November 11, 2012) at The Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH following a period of declining health. She was 88. Ruth was born on November 4, 1924 in Norway, Maine, she was the daughter of Levi and Eva (Bradberry) Richardson. Ruth grew up and was educated in Norway, Maine. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her children and their families. She cherished her cat "Big Boy" as he provided her much companionship. She spent her summers camping and fishing but her favorite time of year was Christmas and she so enjoyed her annual Christmas parties. She spent her last years providing faithful support of America's deserving Soldiers and Veterans and their families. She was a Patriotic American.

In addition to being a homemaker, she worked as a machine operator for Burndy LLC in Littleton, NH for many years. Ruth resided in Gorham for many years. She was an active member of the Gorham American Legion Post #82 Ladies Auxilary and the Disabled American Veterans of Manchester, NH.

She leaves three sons Donald Saucier and his wife Sue of Jefferson, NH; David Saucier of Gorham, NH; and Daniel Saucier and his wife Jennifer of Rochester, NH Five daughters: Dianna Foley and husband Wesley of Havana, FL; Doris Gray and companion James Tibbets of Quincy, FL; Joan Bagley of Manchester, NH; Joyce Kenison and husband Wendell of Bradford, VT; and Barbara Lemear and husband David of Manchester, NH. Ruth also has 25 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by a daughter Louise Corrigan and several brothers and sisters. SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 17th at the family plot at Kilkenny View Cemetery in Jefferson, NH.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ruth Saucier Memorial Fund, which will help support The Skin Cancer Foundation's education initiatives and clinical research.
