Ruth E. Snow

Mrs. Ruth E. Snow, 73, of 1886 Riverside Drive in Berlin passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at her home. She was born in New Britain, CT on March 8, 1935 the daughter of Lyford C. and Norma (Doolittle) Bigelow and moved to Berlin in 2002. Prior to her retirement she worked as a claims specialist for American States Insurance. She loved knitting, bird watching, and especially loved taking car rides to enjoy the New Hampshire scenery. She was also a member of the Humane Society. Members of her family include her three sons Kevin Snow, Ethan Snow and David Snow all of Berlin, NH; two nieces Marsha Pomponio of New Britain, CT and Debra Fuller also of CT. She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Snow in 1997 and by her sister Lois Wardner. CALLING HOURS will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Ave. in Berlin. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in New Britain, CT on Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
