Ruby A. Brown

Miss Ruby A. Brown, 86, formerly of Hill Road, Dummer, NH passed away on Wednesday morning November 25, 2009 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in Dummer, NH on December 6, 1922 the daughter of Fred and Alice (Goud) Brown and was raised in Dummer and during her working years she resided in Oakville, CT, where she worked in factories. She returned to Dummer upon her retirement. Ruby was a member of the Dummer Community Church, the Dummer Womens Society and for many years she sent get well cards for the Womens Society to those who were ill or recuperating. She is survived by two nephews Roger P. Smith of North Stratford, NH and Ronald R. Smith of Gorham; grandnieces and grandnephews; great grandnieces, great grandnephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Thelma Smith. SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Nov. 28, 2009 at 10 AM at the Dummer Community Church. Interment will be in the Willis Cemetery in Dummer. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Dummer Community Church Building Fund.
