Rose Y. Brault

Rose Y. Brault, 91, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday October 8, 2017 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in West Stewartstown, NH on January 7, 1926 the daughter of Hector and Florence (Thibault) Benoit and raised her own family there. She lived for a time in North Stratford and in Nashua before moving to Berlin many years ago. She had been a member of St. Anne Church and was a very Christian woman. Religion and her family were very important to her. Family includes her ten children George Prosper and wife Melvina of Newton, NH, Agnes Ellingwood and husband Maynard of New Durham, NH, Patrick Prosper, Sr. and wife Rebecca of Middleton, NH, Bruce Prosper and wife Claire of Pocola, OK, Norman Prosper and wife Kathy of Clinton, ME, Marie Bullard and husband Richard of Phoenix, AZ, Juanita Piloto of Phoenix, AZ, Richard Prosper and longtime companion Cindy Vickers of Fairfield, ME, David Prosper and wife Dee of Berlin, NH and Christine Morton and husband Harold, Jr. of Damariscotta, ME; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters Irene Jeffers of Loudon, NH and Aleda Maurais of Canaan, VT; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edwin Walter Prosper and Roland Brault. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 12, 2017 at 1 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
