Rose M. Dodge

Rose M. Dodge, 73, of 75 Denmark Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday afternoon July 21, 2016 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on November 9, 1942 the daughter of Lyman P. and Persis M. (Lambert) Dunham and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a graduate of Berlin High School. Rose had been employed by the Berlin Reporter and the Sun Journal in Lewiston, Maine, prior to becoming employed by the Berlin Daily Sun, where she was the managing editor. Members of the family include her husband Charles F. Chuck Dodge of Berlin; a daughter in law Lori Dodge of Salem, MA; grandchildren Emily Rose Dodge, Amie Marie Dodge, Elise and Lorin Moustakis, all of Salem, MA and a special grandson Michael Albert of Portland, Maine; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and a son Charles A. Dodge, who died in 2014. SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Berlin, NH on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Tuesday evening July 26 from 6 to 8 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
