Rose Legendre

Berlin, NH

Rose Legendre passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Mountain Ridge Nursing Home in Frankin, NH. She was 100.

Rose was born on April 28, 1913 in Ste Agathe, PQ the daughter of Jean and Aurelie (Laflamme) Labrecque.

On April 24, 1934 she was married to Francis Legendre at Angel Guardian Church They resided in Berlin where they raised two sons.

She opened her home to many foster children and handicap children, giving them a safe and loving home. She enjoyed taking walks, knitting, crossword puzzles and doing word searches. Sundays were a special time for her, she always had the family over and cooked large meals. Her moto was "Take it as it comes, enjoy what you have, when you have it".

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, she was a very loving, caring and devoted, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two sons, Phillippe Legendre and wife Beverley of Bethel, ME and Leo Legendre of Bethel ME. Seven Grandchildren, Kevin and wife Sherrie Legendre of Laconia, NH, Ken and wife Heidi Legendre of Gorham, NH, Keith and wife Christine Legendre of Sanford, ME, Kip Legendre of Bethel, ME, Kelly and wife Becky Legendre of Indiana, Judy and husband Roger Corriveau of Florida and Kathy and husband Bob Corriveau of Gilead, ME. She also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

A Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Milan NH.
