Rosario E. Couture

ROSARIO E. COUTURE GORHAM, NH Rosario E. Couture, 93, of Gorham, NH passed away on Saturday January 10, 2015 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. He was born on May 14, 1921 in Stratford, PQ, Canada and was the son of Albert and Eva (Isabelle) Couture. He came to the United States with his family in 1954, seeking employment. He worked in the logging industry throughout his life as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Rosario enjoyed his family, being outdoors and tinkering. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and maple sugaring. He is survived by his wife Laurette (Pinard) Couture of Gorham; children Sylvie Blair of Berlin and Steve Couture and wife Susan Lambert of Berlin; grandchildren Gregory Blair and wife Jennifer of Gorham, Christine Blair and her boyfriend Greg Goscenski of Milan, Tyler Couture of Berlin and Turner Couture of Berlin; great-grandchildren Aiden Blair and Declan Blair of Gorham; step-grandchildren Danya Gurtler and Kirstin Taylor, Kristen and Elise Blanchette; brother Leodar Couture and wife Lise of Ascot Corner, PQ and sisters Rose Eva LaChance of Berlin, Rollande Chabot of Beloril, PQ and Carmella Verville of Magog, PQ; sister in-law Gaby Couture of Ascot Corner, PQ. There will be no services.
