Ronald D. Shotts, Sr.

Ronald D. Shotts, Sr., 90, of Berlin, passed away on Friday February 2, 2018 at his home. He was born in Marshall, IL on August 4, 1927 the son of Seth and Goldie (Simpson) Shotts and served with the US Army. He came to NH while stationed at Camp Dodge and was later employed by Brown Company and James River Corp., retiring as a foreman. Ronald was a member of the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW and was an active member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed wood working, tinkering and antiquing. Family includes his loving wife of 25 years, Doris L. (Kinney) Shotts of Berlin; his children Ronald Shotts, Jr. of Manchester; Michael Shotts of Berlin and Sharon Shotts of San Antonio, TX; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Retta Anne of Marshall, IL, Eugene Shotts of Marshall, IL and Sherry Farrel of Marshall, IL; his loving stepchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Catherine, his daughter Candy, a grandson Kevin and several siblings. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 9, 2018 at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church, 79 High St., Berlin. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 12-1 PM, prior to the service. Donations in his memory may be made to the First Baptist Church.
