Rolande Marie Plante

Mrs Rolande Marie Plante of York Street passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 at her home. She was 88 years old.

She was born on September 16, 1922 in Province of Quebec, Canada she was the daughter of Adjutor Girard and Alma Robichaud.

A longtime resident of Berlin, Rolande was employed in the sewing department at Granite State Rubber Company in Berlin, NH.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin, NH.

Her pastimes included sewing, wallpapering, painting, snowmobiling, camping, and fishing.

She is survived by a nephew Andre Savageau and nieces Colette, Fleurette, Helene, Lise, Diane, Johanne, and Doris Savageau all of P.Q. Canada.

She was god mother to her niece Florette.

And best friends Jeanette Viens and Jeanine Pateneaud both of Berlin, NH.

Her husband Rosaire E. Plante died August 4, 1970 and several brothers and sister also pre-deceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday, Oct 8, at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH.

Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Quebec City, P.Q., Canada at a later date.
