Rolande Irane (Bourque) Labonville

Rolande IrAne (Bourque) Labonville passed away on October 21, 2012 surrounded by her family at the age of 88 at the Androcoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin after a brief illness. Born in Stratford, QuAC.bec, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Blanche Marie (Cormier) Bourque.

She was predeceased by her husband AlAC.odore Joseph Labonville November 13, 1996 and a son Richard at birth, four brothers, Normand (Bob) Bourque (Aline), IrAnAC. Bourque (IrAne), Hercules Bourque (Madeleine), Rosaire Bourque (Lilianne), two sisters Florette Galipeau (late Paul) and Pauline Fournaise (late Gaston).

Rolande was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her children Jacques Labonville (Anita) of Gorham, Jean Marc Labonville (Darlene) of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, Madeleine Murphy (late Thomas) of Dunbarton, Joselyn Labonville (Susan) of Shelburne, Carol Roy of Vernon, Connecticut, and Claire Stiles (Steve) of Hemet, California, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers Hector Bourque (Raymonde) of East Angus, Marie Louis Bourque (Collette) of Ascot Corner, two sisters, Mignonne Maltais (late TangrAde) of Sherbrooke, QuAC.bec and Suzanne McKinney (Robert) of Elliott, Maine.

She enjoyed family gatherings, visiting with her grandchildren and was known for her great generosity knitting for everyone in need including people she did not even know personally. She was a mother of great faith and enjoyed going to church and always volunteered her time at church functions.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Med/Surg West for the excellent care given to our mother and heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Jafri for the compassionate care he extended to our mother and the family.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home in Gorham on Exchange Street from 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 8:30 until 9:30 am. The funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the Riverside Assembly of God Church with Pastor Paul Lavigne officiating.
