Rocco P. Faustini

Mr. Rocco P. Faustini, 79, of 25 Success Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Friday August 18, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on March 3, 1927 the son of Rocco and Theresa (DAmico) Faustini and moved to Massachusetts and then to Florida, where he resided for 12 years before moving to Berlin in 2006. Rocco was a US Navy veteran of WW2 and Korea, where he served as a Pharmacist Mate. Prior to his retirement, he had been self employed as a carpenter. Rocco was a member of the Sons of Italy in Port Charlotte, Florida, he loved to play the organ, loved cooking and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Members of the family include his wife Lena (Belanger) Faustini of Berlin; his children Albert Bertin and his wife Kathy of Gorham, Joann Liacos of Massachusetts, Ronald Bertin of Shelton, CT, Linda Novak and her husband Roger of Arizona, Debbie Alain of Shelton, CT and Ronald Faustini of Clearwater, Florida; 7 grandchildren Karen Bertin-Roy, Christopher Bertin, Patience Polapink, Jason Liacos, Justin Liacos, Tony Distassio Jr. and Danielle Alain; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister Rosemary Antianni of Bridgeport, CT. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday afternoon Aug. 22, 2006 at 2 PM in the chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. There will be no calling hours.
