Roberta M Belmonte

Roberta M Belmonte passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 28, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 81 years old.



Born on July 3, 1936 in East Boston, MA she was the daughter of Walter and Annette Bradley (Oricchio) In 1956 she married Joseph Belmonte and she spent the next several years following her husband overseas while he severed in the Military. They raised their children overseas as well.



Roberta had many interests, she was a Fiber Artist, Knitter, and oil painter. She loved to go shopping, dining out, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and preparing holiday meals, her specialty was meatballs.



She worked as a retail clerk in the gift shop at Mass Port. Following her retirement ten years ago she moved to Berlin.



Besides her parents was predeceased by her husband Joseph who passed away in 1990 and a son Mark Belmonte who passed away in 2011 and his wife Cathy Belmonte who passed away in 2008.



She leaves behind her daughter Michele Belmonte, a son Anthony Belmonte and fianc Jessica Vitko, and a daughter Corinne Mercer; grandchildren Rena DiLando-Dandurant, Joline Mercer, Joseph Mercer and Christine Antunez and fianc Edwardo Enrique Castro; great-grandchildren Shyanne Belmonte, Troy Belmonte, Amanda Belmonte, Xaviel Raul Antunez, Xiovanny Roberto Valencia, Edwardo Enrique Castro Jr, Everest Royale Castro; great-great grandchild Amaya Belmonte; Daughter-in-law Shannon Belmonte,; son-in-law Michael James.



A graveside service will be held at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:00am, Lunch will be at Bertuccis in Medford MA., immediately following the service.
