Roberta Bradstreet

d. July 19, 2015

On Sunday July 19, 2015, the Lord chose to take Roberta Bradstreet home with him. After a lengthy illness fought with style and grace, she decided that decorating the gates of heaven was a more worthwhile task. Born on April 4, 1948 in Berlin, Roberta grew up in Berlin and Milan and was a graduate of Berlin High School, Class of 1966. She loved decorating her front yard for each coming holiday and keeping the spirit of the holiday alive. Roberta enjoyed flowers and was an avid Red Sox fan; she bemoaned their current season, but still stuck with them. She served on the local school board and was a past member of the Shelburne Womens Club. The family wishes to thank Weeks Hospital and Oncology Staff for their kindness and caring ways. Robertas wish is for people to keep their loved ones near and dear to them. She will be missed and the world is a smaller place without her presence. May Jesus appreciate her talents. Roberta is survived by her loving husband Tim of Gorham and her devoted son Dana of North Conway and her special kitties Hunter and Sweet-Pea, a brother Robert Mortenson and wife Cindy of Gorham and a cousin Christine Travers and husband Robert of Alton Bay, NH, a niece and several nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Sophie Mortenson, whom she adored and took care of in their later years and a brother Herman and a sister Nancy. At Robertas request services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Weeks Medical Center, Oncology Dept., 173 Middle St., Lancaster, NH 03570.
